Kusy, Filip ; Kubánková, Anna (referee) ; Krajsa, Ondřej (advisor)
This student work focuses on security against network attacks. It focus on network attacks and ways to prevent them. Subsequently, it deals with the Snort variant of the IPS/IDS system. It deal with the connection between Mikrotik and the Snort Linux server
Network communication monitoring probe
Klečka, Jan ; Fujdiak, Radek (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
Master thesis deals with analysis of single board PC which use Linux as operation system. Analysis of individual NIDS systems and examined their properties for choosing right candidate for single board computer which shall be used as network probe for analysis, filtering and logging of network traffic. Part of the work is aimed on development of a interface which is used for configuration of network probe through the web browser. Web interface allows perform basic operations over network probe which influence network traffic or specify, which information shall be logged. Subsequently network parsers were implemented for network protocols using the Scappy library. The conclusion of the thesis contains the design of the security cover for the device according to the IP54 requirements.

Behaviour of meerkats (\kur{Suricata suricatta}) in ZOOs
ŠVOMOVÁ, Tereza
Meerkat (Suricata suricatta) comes under moongooses beasts of prey which can as a dominant individual live up to 11 years and up to 4-5 years as a subordinate. Meercat is an insectivore based in south Africa, mostly forming social groups which may consist of 3 to 50 members. The group itself is usually composed of dominant couple which is commonly responsible for reproduction, and several facilitators which participate in various tasks, such as taking care about whelps, looking for nutrition, lair maintenance or guarding against predators. The work itself was held in Zoo based in Jihlava since July until September 2015 on a group consisting of 9 meercats (4 juvenile, 5 adult) using method of direct observation. The main concern of the paper is to find correlation between a number of visitors of the Zoo and behaviour of meercats. Factors observed in order to assess the degree of the dependence were raking, passive behaviour and reactions to the visitors. Observations resilted in monitoring factors traffic does not affect on the behavior of meerkats.
Ethological study of meercats (Suricata suricatta) in Jihlava Zoo.
ZÍTKOVÁ, Jana
Meerkat (Suricata suricatta) is a mongoose species from South Africa. Insects are the primary food sources of their diet. Meerkat lives in groups of 2-30 individuals with a developed social structure. The group consists of a dominant pair and a different number of helpers of both sexes, which are involved in various forms of cooperation, for example care for cubs, guard service and maintaince of burrow. This study was done from July to September 2009 in zoo in Jihlava on a group of meerkats, which consisted of 14 individuals. There was used the method of direct observation. Observation was specialized on care of individuals for cubs. Recorded activities include, for example, pawing, carrying of cub, puryfying of cub and play. This study concerned in a dominant activities and analysed behaviour of individuals in rearing of cubs. The result of comparison was this succession of taking care for cubs: most frequently adult females, then yearling females, less adult males, yearling males and least juveniles in Jihlava group of meercats.
